He has never followed the beaten path: Before Emmanuel Tjeknavorian won second place in the prestigious Sibelius Violin Competition in 2015, the Viennese had already embarked the conductor’s path. He returned to this in 2018and decided to devote himself entirely to conducting.
Until the balancing act and is always looking for a challenge together with the WDR Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Cristian Măcelaru, he performed for the album “Brahms – Violin Concerto & Songs”, which will be released in September 24 by Berlin Classics, – and for a short time swaps the violin for the viola.
